Wyco tool
For over seventy years, Wyco, which falls under the Badger Meter umbrella, has been dedicated to the development of concrete consolidation products. BEACON AMA goes further than monitoring intended water use. It also proved useful in identifying unintended water loss through leaking pipes.
Arming consumers with knowledge
EyeOnWater is another remarkable offering in the the BEACON product line. Contained within the BEACON AMA software suite, EyeOnWater is targeted towards providing customers with comprehensive information about their water conservation. The software uses visual aids through easy-to-understand water consumption graphs and charts, and users can set up alerts to better monitor water usage.
But what happens to that data?
As more people begin to use BEACON AMA, Badger Meter has become responsible for the data of its consumers. Because they understand the great responsibility that comes along with protecting this data, in July of 2017, Badger Meter announced that it had self-certified itself with the E.U.-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
The Privacy Shield was designed as a joint effort between the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission to provide data privacy standards for the transfer of data between companies in the U.S. and the European Union.
